Success coaching for young people.

It begins with our experience and expertise of working with young people for over 25 years.

OUR SERVICES

Supporting young people as they create a path towards greater independence and academic, professional and life success .

High School Support

High school is an important time for many young people. We can help them develop their sense of self and maximize these four years to set them up to have a range of options for what comes next after they graduate.

  • -Assessing where a young person is in their academic development including what their academic strengths are and where they need support.

-Coaching them to develop their leadership potential.

-Helping them identify and apply to internships, summer programs and other learning opportunities that support their growth and broaden their world view.

(*We also provide high school application support for those interested in independent or parochial high schools)

College Counseling and Exploring Options After High School

While attending a 4-year college immediately after high school is the right path for many young people, we recognize that it might not be the right fit for all high school graduates. We are here to guide them as they explore what comes next for them after high school.

  • -Being a sounding board for families as they think through possibilities after high school.

-Providing college guidance (support completing applications, essay writing help, guidance creating a list of colleges to apply to, support applying for financial aid, strategies for maximizing admissions chances etc.) to help high school seniors apply to the perfect fit school that meets their interests, their learning styles and career aspirations.

-Helping young people and their families explore the idea of a “gap year” if a pause is needed before they start college.

-Identifying suitable employment and apprenticeship programs that support young people who want to move directly into the workforce after high school.

-Designing an alternative path forward that includes a mix of community college and work.

-Working through our “Pre-College Bootcamp” curriculum with rising college freshmen help them maximize their time at college.

-Helping families walk through a candid conversation on what post high school paths are financially feasible.

Career Readiness

Whether a young person enters the workforce right out of high school or trains for a career at a 4-year college, graduate school, apprenticeship or certification program there are things they can do to better ensure their career success.

  • -Helping young people identify and apply to internships and apprentice programs.
